READING MAN WINS $200,000 POWERBALL PRIZE
January 4, 2012
Joseph Russell of Reading claimed the $200,000 prize that he won for matching all five numbers (2-6-34-35-47) in the November 30, 2011 Powerball drawing. He missed only the Power Ball (22), which would have netted the DPW worker a $30 million jackpot.

Russell received his prize in a one-time lump sum payment (minus taxes) and plans to invest the winnings.

He played his Powerball Quik Pic numbers at Melrose Mobil located at 386 Main Street in Melrose. The store will receive a $2,000 commission on the sale.
