Who understands women? Would guys say, after all it is so true that there are times that they don´t understand each other and it is almost as if they were beings from different planets. Wifes want their husbands to do one thing and husbands want their wifes to do another thing. Usually husbands give a rational and logical reason why they need their partner to do something but the wife ends up doing just the opposite because she felt like it, end of the argument. US lottery
Rebecca Leyba entered in this ordeal and now owes her husband big time, well actually she only owes him ice-cream and a sandwich specially now that she can repay him in many ways.
Last week, Rebecca and her husband, Guadalupe, went out to buy windows for their home to replace the ones that were damaged in a recent storm. On their way back, they stopped for gas. While Guadalupe was filling up the gas tank, he gave Rebecca $20 to go inside and buy whatever she wanted, although he did ask for an ice-cream and a sandwich. Lottery results
So like a little girl, Rebecca went into the store and started pondering what to buy with her pocket money. However once in the store she completely forgot about her husband´s request and ended up buying nothing for the poor man. What did she get though? She spent those $20 on a scratch ticket.
So Rebecca jumps into the car with Guadalupe and they started on their way back home, when Rebecca started scratching her only purchase. That is when she discovered that she had won 100,000 times whatever sandwich and ice-cream her husband would have wanted. So now both are happy and although Rebecca didn´t do what she was asked, she was saved because now she can make it up to Guadalupe.
Rebecca Leyba won the $200,000 on a scratch game from New Mexico Lottery called Diamond Avalanche. Diamond Avalanche costs $20 to play and the odds of winning the $200,000 top prize are approximately 1-in-120,000.
Now that Rebecca is many times richer, she plans to use the money to help out their kids, pay some bills, and of course pamper her husband with lots of ice-cream and sandwiches, she owes him one.
Yes, Rebecca should have just bought her husband what he wanted, but once in the shop she couldn´t help but listen to her intuition that prompted her to buy the scratch-off ticket. And it was this spur of the moment decision that has granted her much needed cash, you can´t hardly blame her. In the end, the result is what counts. If I were Guadalupe I would go home happy knowing that from now on I can actually swim on ice-cream and sandwiches.
